Interesting stats ? as a non profit do you pay taxes or are you asked for contributing payments to government?..? see response from various in various states.
Excerpt??.Thirty-one percent of the not-for-profit organizations responding to this survey indicated that they are paying taxes outright to their municipal governments, while 8% are making payments in lieu of taxes. Another 33% of respondents are paying service fees to their local government, and 6% anticipate that they will be approached to make payments sometime in the future.
