In these upside down days of pre-manufactured "stars and starlets", who inexplicably gain fame for bad behavior, it's difficult for a young person to find quality role models in today's entertainment world.

A quick internet scan of the daily news inevitably brings multiple stories of terrible behavior by reality stars and music personalities. ?A quick scan of the songs currently being marketed as popular music inevitably leaves the listener's ears filled with obscenities and tales of debauchery.

Cimorelli, the marvelous sextet?of singing sisters, is staking their claim to Pop Music Royalty by doing all the right things. ?Raised in a loving two-parent home, this family group solidly stands ready to conquer the world by using their natural God-given talents to achieve success. ?Their wholesome approach to entertaining an audience is a quality that has been sorely lacking in the music business.

There is nothing pre-manufactured here...they are really talented, they are really dedicated, they are really grounded, and they are really sisters.

Cimorelli will win over the world the old fashioned way...by being real.

On my final day of Cimorelli Week, I am thrilled to present:

Christina Cimorelli!

Christina, as you grow more popular by the minute, what's the hardest thing about being a "Cimorelli"?

? - For me, it's probably the lack of a normal routine and schedule in my life. ?I am a very organized person and I love to have a schedule days, weeks, months in advance. ?With our career, though, that's impossible. ?I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow. ?It could change this afternoon!

What's the most surprising thing to happen to you since the 'THE CIMFAM EP' was released?

? - Getting nominated for Teen Choice Award! ?That was so insane.

You all make it look so easy to perform in front of the camera. ?Is it as easy for you to perform in front of a live audience?

? - Live audience is very easy for us because we've done years of theatre!

Any advice to overcoming stage fright?

? - My advice to people with stage fright is to do lots of theatre and perform as much as you possibly can even if you're terrified because it gets SO much easier each time! ?I used to be so scared and nervous and shy onstage but through my experience, I've become very comfortable. ?Also, PRACTICE. ?Practice, practice, practice! ?The more you practice, the more comfortable you will feel when you perform. ?Prepared = Confident.

On your approach to songwriting, you've said to "trust your instincts." ?Who else do you look to for honest feedback and direction when crafting an original song?

? - Whenever I finish a song, I show as many friends as possible. ?I love to see how they react to it and what really touches them. ?However, I really try to write things I like. ?If I write for others, it never turns out as genuine as I want. ?My best songs are the ones I just write for fun!

Outside of your family, who would you love to collaborate with?

? - Two people I would love to write with are Dr. Luke and also Max Martin. ?I think a Cimorelli collaboration with Diggy would be cool! ?Also, one with someone like Drake!

What's the most fun you've ever had with Lauren?

? - Probably every year on our birthday! ?We share a birthday, and it's in August, so it's always super summery and fun, and we always have a BLAST!

THANKS Christina!
It's hard to believe that you were ever shy on a stage, so your advice is wonderful.

Well readers...that concludes Cimorelli Week here on RealLifeHusband.com and I want to thank everyone that has stopped by to show your love. ?It has been a blast!
Please follow Christina on Twitter @ChristinaCim

THANKS CIM FAM! ?Your dedication to this group is an absolute joy!

THANKS CIMORELLI! ?I wish you wild success and I hope you always enjoy the ride.
Keep going and keep smiling...

I leave you all with a cool video of a song written by Christina and Lauren featuring the entire family! ?From 2008, here's the ridiculously catchy 'Delaney'...

DNP Google gives an easy out, adds YouTube to Takeout data transfer tool

Breaking up with a web-based ecosystem is hard to do, especially when you have several gigabytes of data invested in a specific platform. However, things just got a whole lot easier for disgruntled vloggers. Google recently added YouTube to its Takeout data migration service, which now gives users the ability to pull all of their uploaded videos from the company's servers in a single stroke. This groovy tool should definitely come in handy when you're busy shopping around your latest foreign film to different movie studios. In addition to being extremely easy to use, the service will also send an email letting you know that your download has finished. Simply set it and forget it!

NYC Dads and Stay At Home Dads Group: TV Show Review: "Guys ...

Editors Note: ?We're huge fans of Jimmy Fallon so we were pumped to discover a few months ago that he was the executive producer behind the new TV sitcom, "Guys With Kids." ?You know, the show with the huge posters displaying three macho dads sporting sunglasses & wearing their babies in carriers. ?An awesome visual! ?While we think Fallon has a ripe opportunity to display what it means to be a "good dad" while still being hilarious, we were sorely disappointed with show. ?If he's looking for plot ideas, we've got 650 local NYC Dads who would be willing to share their experiences. ?Below is a guest post by NYC Dads Group member, Seth Leibowitz, as he shares his opinions about the new show, "Guys With Kids." And, check out this clip of Jimmy Fallon & the co-stars on the Today Show discussing how he conceived of the idea for the show.

Remember in the movie Total Recall (the original with Arnold?Schwarzenegger and not the eyesore of a remake with Colin Farrell)? when the cab driver Benny says "Man... I've got five kids to feed!"

That was funny.

Remember, when he said it the second time?

That wasn't as funny.

Remember when he said it a third time?

It was downright overkill.?

There's a scene in new NBC comedy "Guys With Kids" executive produced by late-night host Jimmy Fallon, where a flustered father of four (Anthony Anderson) proclaimed, "I've got four kids!"?

That was funny.

Similar to the movie this line was repeated three more times through the half-hour show and it just fell flat.

The new comedy features three main characters, a stay-at-home-dad, Gary (Anderson), working dad, Nick (Zach Cregger), and divorced dad, Chris (Jesse Bradford) who all live in the same apartment building. The tree of comedic opportunity is downright ripe for this scenario, but the pilot episode served up a plate of rotten tomatoes.?

The plot around the 1st episode revolves around Chris meeting an attractive girl at a bar (of course). The episode opens with all three fathers with their little ones strapped to their Baby Bjorns and sipping beer. Funny? Yes. Realistic. Not so much.

Thanks to Chris' friend Nick (who for some reason is constantly drinking juice boxes through the show), Chris ends up getting a date with this lady to the Knicks game that night. The only problem is, Chris' controlling ex Sheila (Erinn Hayes) who uses the "I carried him inside me" excuse to shut down every argument won't allow him to get a babysitter. So, the rest of the episode is pretty predictable as Chris leaves his son with Gary and his brood of wild children.

The supporting cast is so one-dimensional consider the talent that is there. Nick's wife, Emily (Jamie-Lynn Sigler aka Meadow Soprano) had minimal lines. Gary's wife, Marny (Tempestt Bledsoe from The Cosby Show) was funny but visibly taking a note from her TV dad's book of humor. Sheila was so horrible that the viewer is baffled as to why Chris would even marry her in the first place.?

As an avid television sitcom viewer and a former television marketer, I understand it takes a few episodes for a show to finds it groove. However, the portrayal of dads in this first episode was more stereotypical than a Jewish lawyer. There is no defining moment that shows the trials and tribulations of fatherhood. The SAHD in the show is downright exhausted (he actually says, "I haven't slept in seven years!") and finds his friend's working television with a Wii to be heaven-sent for him and his kids.

I think Jimmy Fallon is hysterical. I also know that he doesn't have any children of his own (yet). While writer-producer Charlie Grandy ("The Office") is an established Hollywood figure, I feel that this comedy may only be taken for what it is... a poor attempt at showing the television world what bumbling idiots fathers are with children.

Seth Leibowitz?is a part-time stay-at-home dad and a special education teacher in Westchester County. He created the?Westchester Dads Meetup Group?which currently has forty-six members. In his spare time, he is a professional air guitarist (seriously) and enjoys watching New York Rangers hockey. Follow Seth on his?blog?or ?@ShreddyMercury on Twitter for some sarcastic humor.?

Sorry about that, NFL commissioner says of replacements | KDVR ...

NFL replacement referees struggle to whether or not to give Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate a touchdown on Sept. 24, 2012. Tate was awarded a touchdown despite the fact that it appeared M.D. Jennings had intercepted the pass. (CNN)

(CNN)?? The touchdown catch that wasn?t. The first touchdown interception. The inaccurate reception. Whatever you call it, don?t call the controversial call by replacement refs in the Green Bay Packers-Seattle Seahwaks game a catalyst for the tentative labor deal with National Football League referees, Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday.

?It may have pushed the parties farther along, but we were really in intensive negotiations for the last two weeks,? Goodell told reporters in a conference call Thursday to discuss the agreement, reached late Wednesday.

Goodell also said he was sorry the league felt it had to resort to the replacements, few of whom had any previous NFL officiating experience. Many were high school or low-level college officials who hold down myriad other jobs, from schoolteachers to attorneys.

At the same time, he declined to criticize the replacements despite weeks of botched calls that raised the ire of fans nationwide.

?Everything they did, every call, was magnified,? Goodell said. ?They kept the game going. They worked hard. They trained hard. They were incredibly focused and dedicated.?

The eight-year deal ? the longest ever for officials, according to the NFL ? gives the union referees a pay raise and keeps their pension program in place for five years.

It suspends a lockout that began before the league?s preseason, leading to a series of gaffes that climaxed in a furor over a botched call that allowed the Seahawks to walk away with a victory in Monday night?s nationally televised game. The league acknowledged Tuesday that the Packers should have won, but allowed the result of the game to stand.

Fans and players rejoiced in the news that regular referees would return, beginning with Thursday night?s game between the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens.

?Never thought I would be excited for the refs to come back to work but it?s about time,? Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Cribbs tweeted Thursday. ?It was definitely necessary!?

In place of the replacement referees, most of whom had officiated no more than a handful of pro games, the league put together a veteran crew with a combined 70 seasons of NFL experience to handle Thursday night?s game.

Goodell said it was challenging to figure out how to get regular referees back on the field less than 24 hours after striking the tentative deal, but not for lack of enthusiasm among the officials to get back to work.

?They wanted to do what they love doing and make a contribution to the game, and that?s a tribute to them,? Goodell said.

While they have not called a game since last season, the league?s veteran crews will be ready to go, said retired official Mason ?Red? Cashion.

?These guys have been working every week, really since May, to get ready for the season, through conference calls, through video, through meetings of their own,? Cashion said. ?And that?s something that the officials have done simply because they have enough pride in what they do that they wanted to be ready. And they are ready.?

The eight-year deal, which must be ratified by union members, includes details about officials? pensions and retirement benefits, and adds a pay bump from $149,000 a year in 2011 to $173,000 in 2013. The pay will rise to $205,000 by 2019.

The agreement will also allow the NFL to hire some officials on a year-round basis and hire additional referees so they can be trained.

?This agreement supports long-term reforms that will make officiating better. The teams, players and fans want and deserve both consistency and quality in officiating,? Goodell said.

The return of the league?s regular referees won?t put an end to controversial calls, said retired NFL player Tiki Barber. But it will raise the respect level between coaches and players and officials, Barber said.

?There?s still going to be arguing with referees,? he said. ?They?re still going to make bad calls. But now we?re going to know that it?s coming from a base of knowledge. These guys know what they?re talking about and they?re going to have an argument for why they do what they do on the field.?

The deal came almost exactly 48 hours after the controversial ending of the Monday night game, which the Seahawks won 14-12 after replacement officials gave possession of a disputed ball, and a touchdown, to Seattle receiver Golden Tate.

In what became a widely mocked symbol of the quality of officiating by the replacements, a photo from that game shows two officials in the end zone displaying competing signals: one indicating a touchdown, the other an interception.

The result generated intense and immediate criticism of the league ? even President Barack Obama weighed in Tuesday urging a quick resolution. On Thursday, White House spokesman Jay Carney said Obama was ?very pleased? with the resolution.

Goodell said he was not surprised by the outcry.

?I?ve come to learn in the NFL, particularly with the popularity of the game and the influence it has in today?s society, not much surprises me about what happens in the NFL,? he said.

Despite prodding by reporters, he declined to closely dissect the play that ended Monday night?s game beyond the statement the NFL issued Tuesday. In that statement, the NFL said the replacement refs should have called an offensive pass interference penalty on Seattle that would have ended the game, but supported the referees? decision not to overturn the ruling on the catch.

Goodell also declined to grade the replacements, saying that wasn?t part of his duties. But he warned fans that mistakes will still happen, even with the return of the veterans.

?It?s not realistic to think that officiating will be perfect,? he said.

Much as it was after the Monday game, Twitter was buzzing with discussion of the deal. For a while, in the early morning, the name of one of the NFL?s more iconic officials, the heavily muscled Ed Hochuli, was one of the most-discussed topics among Twitter users in the United States.

?I?ve never been more excited to see another man?s biceps than this Sunday to see Ed Hochuli back officiating,? a Twitter user named Robby Donoho wrote. ?It?s. About. Time.?
